Polanco showed how RIAs for the desktop will in the future be able to be built using Apoloo 1.0 in conjunction with familiar web development technologies including HTML, AJAX, Flash, as well as Flex.
There will be a developer release available via Adobe Labs "by the end of the year," Polanco announced.

Adobe's Luis Polanco takes the wraps off "Apollo," the upcoming cross-OS runtime that Adobe believes will transform the possibilities for Web apps to become desktop apps.
